Microscopy

There's nothing like looking at your own blood - under a microscope - moments after a tiny pinprick of your finger. It gives you the opportunity to see your blood in it's natural state, at a level of depth that is simply stunning. Insights into your health naturally follow, and we have resources where you can learn more about how to read what you see on the screen.

Dark Field Microscopy
Dark Field Microscopy is not conducted in a laboratory and is not a diagnostic test. Rather, observations are made by eye, in a similar fashion to an analyst assessing a stained peripheral blood smear. The blood sample is then viewed under a dark-field microscope with a x1000 magnification through video transmission.

Scanning Electron Microscopy

To be fair - no one needs to see their blood under a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). We, however, had an ex University one donated to us to help our research - and it's so cool that we just have to share it with you. It costs a bit to use and the technician costs a bit more too - but for those true health nerds you can't go past flexing a wallpaper of your blood under an SEM at the gym.
